We find ourselves navigating uncharted waters with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. At Perplexed Escape Rooms and Games Lounge, our priority is the safety and well-being of our community here in Aldergrove. We're committed to adapting to the challenges that COVID-19 presents while still offering a fun and engaging experience for our guests.
In response to the rapidly changing situation, we've made several adjustments to ensure everyone can enjoy our escape rooms with peace of mind. We know that many people’s travel plans have been disrupted, so to make local entertainment more accessible, we’ve decided to slash our escape room pricing through spring break to just $10 per person, with a minimum group size of three. We hope this makes it easier for families and friends to have a fun, affordable escape close to home.
We're also taking extra precautions to maintain a safe environment. We’re asking all groups to arrive a few minutes early so that everyone has time to wash their hands both before and after participating in the escape room or playing board games. We are thoroughly sanitizing all high-touch areas, and as always, all our escape room bookings are private—you'll only be playing with people you know.
In light of the evolving restrictions, our family has been considering the best course of action for Perplexed. With half of our “day jobs” shutting down, we’re exploring options to continue serving our community in a way that feels safe and comfortable. That’s why we reached out to you, our Aldergrove neighbors, to get your thoughts on how we should proceed. Should we stay open more, limit our hours to “by appointment only,” or close altogether? Your feedback is important to us as we navigate these uncertain times.
We’re grateful for your support as we work to balance safety with providing a much-needed escape from the stresses of the outside world. No matter what, the health and well-being of our guests and community will always come first.
